Steve Jobs once said that to run a startup, one has to be insane. Because, those who are sane will give up, because thats the most logical thing to do. If you are not insane, but want to start something, I suggest you assemble a team who will brave through the rough moments with you. One-man startup is impossible, unless you are... insane. 

Learn something for a purpose. Don't learn something just to learn it. Learn something because you need it so bad, without it nothing works. This way your learning will be accelerated and you will not give up halfway.

Apparently Apple is the master of this. Their iDevices is so simple to operate, even a 3 year old toddler can use it.

A startup is like an emotional rollercoaster. Make the best out of it. Scream on the way down, but never unbuckle the seat and get off the rollercoaster. There are ups and downs in between, but u know for sure that u will get to the end of it.

I spent 40% more money today because I did not do the above. Save yourself some money. Ask around before making a decision. Don't put yourself in a situation where you have to buy on impulse. Pry before you buy.

He leads a 5000 men team in China. His product is number one in its market. He is probably worth decamillions of dollars, and yet he speaks like every one of us. Being humble gets you to places.

Andrew Carnegie once said something like; take my team away but leave me my factories, and they will be overgrown by grass. Take my factories away and leave me my team, and we will build another factory somewhere else.

Choose your team carefully. It will determine your success.

Communicating is 80% listening and 20% talking. Less is simple. Less is good. Talk less, listen more.
